Country Music Dance

This week for Inquiry Room 4 went to room 1 and Mr Moran to learn about country music. We had to create a dance to a country song. We had to get into groups of 3 and my group was Shwe Shwe and Aie Sorn. We chose one of the 6 songs to dance to. We dance to Texas Hold em by Beyonce.

Hi, my brother Tame wants to move to Auckland but I don’t want to. I was in my room and Tame was downstairs. I heard him begging my parents to move and they kept saying no. I don’t want him to move to Auckland because that means I can’t see him anymore. Soon they were thinking of moving Tame to Auckland, if they said yes then that means I can’t see him so I thought of moving to Auckland with him.  

 

 

I live with 7 people, that is a lot of people right. With that many people it’s really expensive when you go to dinner because there’s a lot of food for each person.There is also this new kid that is in my class, his name is Barry and we’re basically friends now. I play tag with him at lunch and it’s always really fun with him. When we play tag him and I don’t like wearing shoes because it’s better running with them because you’re faster so me and him like chucking our shoes together. 

 

 

Something me and my boys like to do before school is to race to school and jump over the fence. We sprinted through vegetable patches and so many other things. 

Tame would complain and say we should be careful of what we do but my friends and I didn’t care, we just wanted to have fun. 

 

 

My family decided that they wanted to return to the farm. I was really excited since I haven’t been there. The first thing I wanted to do was look at all the animals. First I saw some pigs sheeps and some cows but while I was looking at the animals I started to think of Tame because I remembered that he loves to look at animals and play with them. I started to actually miss tame because he had moved out to Auckland and he wasn’t there with us. 

 

Maori Language Week End Of Term Fun Day

Hey everyone Today was the end of term 3 and maori language week so Room 4 made puppets. I made a bird and a heart. I hope you like it remember to leave a positive comment on my blog. It was really fun to make.

Community Reflection Vid

Hey everyone This weeks Inquiry task is a review vid of what we did in the past weeks about making a positive difference in my communities. For this task we had to create a video about how we can use our voices and action to help grow our community. So sit back relax and enjoy watching your favourite person say all kinds of things about her communities and how to grow one of your communities.

Speech

Last week I said a speech to my literacy class. My speech was about discrimination. I started writing this in week 6 and presented it in week 8. the way we did it was everyone’s names on the wheel of names and whoever’s name it lands on is the person that goes up to present their own speech. days before speeches, we watched some videos of other people doing speeches and how they did so we can have ideas of how we can deliver it. everyone that does their speech gets a rubric of how they went and a score of how good they went. It was out of 24 and I got 22 so I was really proud of myself.

Solution: picking up actual rubbish

 

Challenge: getting hurt by sharp rubbish

Solution: not picking up sharp rubbish and telling the teacher to get plaster

Would You Rather Be Able To Fly Or Be Invisible

I would rather be able to fly because I would want to fly wherever I want. In my life sometimes I can’t go somewhere because no one can take me but now if I fly I can Go where ever I want. I can also have fun by flying fast speeds. I would also be able you see mountains and the Sea from above. I  always used to imagine me flying and how fun it would be so if I can fly it would be a dream come true .I would also always be jealous of birds because they could fly. If you were invisible you could easily get hurt because people cant see you. you could get runned over or stepped on without anyone knowing you’re there and you can get unwanted attention.
